Minnesota Aviation | Hall of Fame

Master Sergeant Corban Lundborg was selected as the 2026 Aviation Art Award recipient by the Minnesota Aviation Hall of Fame, a distinction that recognizes outstanding contributions to aviation through artistic expression. The Hall of Fame, which exists to honor individuals who shape and preserve aviation heritage, presents this award annually to highlight artists who capture the spirit and legacy of flight.  As a Minnesota native, Lundborg’s selection reflects both his deep roots in the state and his unique ability to merge visual storytelling with aviation experience, drawing from his work as a U.S. Air Force combat photographer and artist. His work continues to preserve real-world moments of service, sacrifice, and flight, aligning closely with the Hall of Fame’s mission to inspire and educate future generations through aviation history.
